• Curiosities & Keepsakes | A Glimpse Into My Shelves

My world is built on stories—ones I've read, ones I've written, and ones I've quietly collected.  It begins with a rose, a tale as old as time..."

    Enchanted Beginnings

Beauty and the Beast was never just a fairytale.  It taught me that love could be fierce, cursed, and unforgettable.  These roses are more than props.  They're symbols of time, sacrifice, and longing.  (And yes—those roses are shaped like a teddy bear.  Make of that what you will.)

    Lanterns and Silence

I'm drawn to lanterns—maybe because they light up even when surrounded by darkness.  Maybe because they remind me of stories trapped in glass, always glowing, never fading. (And they get shiny when the light is on and the fan blows the glitter around).

    Lore and Legacy

I grea up with monsters and myths.  Ghosts, gods, and creatures that still whisper at the back of my mind.  These books weren't just entertainment.  They were blueprints for the way I write. (Yes, that is the complete Enchanted World Series  I saved up for it—$201 on Amazon about seven years ago.  No regrets.)

    The Heart of It All

At the center of it all are the pieces that don't fit on a shelf.  A rose-wrapped ring.  A heart made of raven skulls—a gift from someone who understands me. (The ring, by the way, was a gift from my husband—an anniversary or birthday present, I think.  It ended up replacing my original wedding band.  Funny how the most meaningful things sneak up on you.  And the Minnie ears were found in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride shop on a family vacation.)

    Closing Line

These aren't just collectibles.  They're confessions in diguise.  Each one holds a memory, a moment, or a meanign that shaped the way I tell stories.  Which one would you take off the shelf first?
